I got this as a gift for a friend. She actually loved it. It's a gentle, fun approach and the illustrations are awesome. It also explained things in a scientific way that I just don't have the language for. It's something I could feel confident giving her and letting her explore at her pace with curiosity and no pressure. Her friend actually wants a copy now too. Just get it already!
